Let me now summarize what I consider the technical strengths of this excellent tablet:
- Display: 7” 10 HD display; 1280x800 resolution.
- Size: 7.6"x5.4"x0.4", which equals to 193 mm x 137 mm x 10.3 mm for my European friends who read this Kindle Fire review.
- Weight: 13.9 ounces, which is 395 grams.
- What you need to get started: nothing, open the box and start using the Kindle.
- Storage: 16GB or 32GB.
- Battery life: over 11 hours, depending of course upon usage and user settings.
- Wi-Fi connectivity: probably the best in its category.
- Ports: USB 2.0, so to connect to PC, Mac or other devices.
- Sensors: you have ambient light sensor.
- Front-Facing camera.
- Built-in microphone.
- Built-in Bluetooth technology.
- Warranty: basic 1-year warranty and service included (with option to extend it to 2 years).
- What you get in the box: USB 2.0 cable plus a starter guide. And of course you get the Kindle Tablet (but I suppose you knew that by now lol lol!).
